I believe in the immense power within each of us to shape our lives and contribute to the collective awakening of consciousness. Through this belief, I’ve created a space for individuals to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery, self-empowerment, and expansion—guided by the simple yet profound act of slowing down the breath.
My Story

Throughout my life, I have made it my mission to cultivate a deep internal connection and embody the most authentic version of myself. My spiritual journey began in childhood, growing up with an innate curiosity about the mind and soul. In my twenties, Buddhism and meditation entered my life, grounding me through teachings of presence and stillness. Silent 10-day Vipassana retreats in my thirties deepened my self-awareness and emotional resilience.
But it wasn’t until I discovered the life-changing power of slow, conscious breathing that everything shifted. Slowing down my breath allowed me to experience profound clarity, inner peace, and balance beyond anything I had known before. It became the foundation of my healing and transformation—helping me navigate life’s greatest challenges with calm and unwavering strength.
Like all of us, I have faced challenges that once seemed insurmountable.
Growing up in an environment of trauma, enduring sexual abuse and witnessing horrific domestic abuse as a child. Experiencing at first hand this same violence in my late teens, and then losing my father to cancer at 22 were moments that left deep emotional imprints. After moving to Australia in 2006 and welcoming my daughter in 2008, I found myself grappling with postnatal depression—a struggle compounded by the loss of my London home during the Global Financial Crisis that same year. Losing something I had worked so hard for—purchased in my mid-twenties—sent me into immediate financial hardship, which soon spiraled into years of social anxiety.
And yet, through it all, I discovered a powerful truth: your breath is your greatest ally.
When I committed to slowing my breath, I realised I could release the grip of past traumas, calm my nervous system, and open space for healing. I learned that optimism, belief, and surrender—when paired with intentional breathing—could rewrite my story.
THE POWER OF SLOW BREATHING
Breath is life, but the way we breathe determines the quality of that life. Most of us are caught in the cycle of shallow, unconscious breathing—fueling stress, anxiety, and disconnection. By learning to slow the breath, we move from fight-or-flight into rest, relaxation, and clarity.
Slowing my breath has helped me:
Release deep-rooted stress and embrace inner peace.
Find stillness and trust in life’s unfolding.
Cultivate loving and compassionate relationships.
Align with my true purpose and step into my highest potential.
This journey has shown me that when we slow down our breath, we slow down life itself—allowing us to see its beauty, embrace its lessons, and step into our power.

No matter what your past holds, you have the ability to reclaim your life and experience the freedom you desire. Challenges are not obstacles; they are opportunities for profound growth. Through the stillness that slow breathing provides, you can cultivate clarity, resilience, and empowerment.
When we quiet the noise within, we can hear the whispers of the universe—guiding us toward our highest good.

My daily slow breath practice, combined with meditation and mindful walks in nature, has become my superpower—offering me the gift of clarity and presence in every moment.
Challenges are always an opportunity to grow... it's why we're all here!
One of the biggest lessons I have learnt in life is that every, and I mean every challenge has to occur. That challenges are an opportunity for great growth and understanding. The key is to be still in realisation as the lessons unfold.
This is where meditation and Breathwork comes into play. When our minds are free from the internal (and) external chatter and we are still, we gain clarity with the information coming through. It is at this time that we will see the beauty in these life tests. We may even smile at what we’ve learnt.
My Mission with Rise Temple
With all my heart, I am dedicated to sharing the transformative power of slow breathing and conscious mindfulness through Rise Temple. My approach, which I call Harmony Breath Connection, integrates breathwork with guided meditations to help individuals achieve clarity, calm, and connection in their daily lives.
Whether working one-on-one, leading group sessions, or my previous role serving as the resident breathwork coach at The Buttery Private rehabilitation center, I have seen firsthand the profound impact this practice has on people's lives. It fills my heart with joy to witness the shifts that occur when people realize that they already have the tools they need within.
I am deeply grateful for every soul I have encountered on this journey, and I invite you to embark on your own path of transformation with me.
Remembering impermanance and to always be gentle on yourself
Living here in Australia for the last 19 years and now at the age of 52, I have been lucky enough to follow all of my dreams and experience accomplishment within from my endeavours whilst transforming and healing, with surmountable vulnerability and reinventing myself along the way.
Thankful for my daily routines and deeper spiritual rituals, I have been able to observe the energies around me and within, that have played a huge part in my evolution... my path.
With a mission to stay in a constant state of high vibration, I am gentle on myself... every day is a lesson, and even if the challenges arise, my smile let’s me know how far I’ve come and how it can only be up from here on in.
And finally… At Rise Temple, I want to foster a sense of belonging and unity through community... to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where individuals can connect with like-minded souls, share their experiences, and support each other in their personal growth journeys. Through group activities, gatherings, and collaborative projects, we can cultivate a space for deep connections, co-creation, and collective evolution.
